How To Use Internet Maps?
The good old road trips! Remember those from back when you were just a young sprout? I sure do. Back in the 80s we didn't know where the heck we were going. Or I should say, my parents didn't know where in the heck they were going. My Mom was that classic female with the paper map. She was riding shotgun, flipping the map this way, and folding it that way; always trying to pinpoint some specific point or interstate exit. She would mark it with a pen, which probably matched half of the colors on the map. Not too brilliant, but at least she was trying. Then there was my father. Yeah, he knew where he was going alright. Around in circles! The guy would never attempt to acquire directions from anyone. So there you have it. My folks fit the stereotype. Of course my brothers and I could have cared less at the time. Now days I'm the parent. However, I don't bother with those irksome paper maps. It's internet maps and GPS systems all the way for me. Thank God for technology.
When was the last time you hit the road? Better yet, what did you do to prepare for your exciting road trip? I'll bet you got online and printed out a few internet maps. This is totally understandable. In fact, it's the prudent route to take these days. Well, unless you have a GPS system in your vehicle. The World-Wide-Web makes it quite simple. You can get online 24/7 and check out any sort of internet maps. Look at the United States, Africa, or China. You can even map out routes through other countries before you head over there. This is just too cool! Anyone in their right mind would take full advantage of this nuance to the direction world. Paper maps are for the grandparents.
Now, if you're about to head out that door, but you have no idea where you're headed, I suggest you take a quick look at some internet maps. Punch in the specific address you're headed to. Today's contemporary internet maps give you great detail and will certainly steer you in the right direction. There's no reason to get lost anymore.
